The αS HI is powered by HUAWEI’s full-stack intelligent auto solution and HarmonyOS, with high-level urban intelligent driving functions. The model comes in two trim levels, with price starting from RMB397,900 to RMB429,900 ($59,270 to $64,037).

The αS HI integrates BAIC BJEV’s fully redundant BE21 platform and HUAWEI’s ICT technology. The vehicle is mounted with 34 high perception hardware, including 3 pieces of HUAWEI’s 96-beam auto-grade LiDARs, 6 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 13 cameras. The αS HI adopts HUAWEI’s exclusive chip with 400TOPS of computing power.

ARCFOX implemented a comprehensive backup system to its entire intelligent driving system in perception, decision, steering, braking, architecture, and power source.

The αS HI features a custom-made power battery system, a front asynchronous motor, and a rear synchronous motor, offering a peak power of over 473kW with 655Nm of torque. The vehicle can zip from 0-100km/h under 3.5 seconds.

The car is deployed with an 800V high-voltage platform, providing a maximum charging power of 187kW. To interpret, the αS HI can run roughly 200km with a ten-minute charging session. The platform takes only 15 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%.
