The CEO said that ORA had worked hard with auto part suppliers to secure the parts it needed for producing the Black Cat and the White Cat models. With no luck with the Black Cat, however, the brand is able to secure enough inventories to last two days of production for the White Cat model.

Specifically, ORA has scheduled two production days for the model on April 15th to April 16th. Given the parts at hand, ORA will be able to manufacture 146 White Cats, 97 of which will be the 305km Luxury trim with a delivery date before November 23rd. Meanwhile, the rest of the 49 units will be used to produce the 360km Luxury (Wild Cat) trim, with a delivery date before November 14th.

With the auto parts supply being so scarce, the CEO apologized for not being able to deliver more vehicles for users awaiting their orders. More information and update about the production will be delivered on April 18th, the CEO added.

As previously reported by ZXZC, Great Wall Motor confirmed that the company is ceasing new orders for its Black Cat and White Cat EV models from its ORA sub-brand, on February 16th, due to the crimped supply of chips and parts.
