In line with other new energy vehicle makers in China, ARCFOX also claimed that the price rise was a consequence yielded by the raw material price hike and the government subsidy withdrawal. Additionally, the price increase will take effect on May 1st, leaving roughly a month of grace period for potential customers to snatch the product with the current unadjusted price.
Currently, ARCFOX has three models on the market, namely the αS, αT, and the HUAWEI-powered αS-HI, priced at RMB251,900-RMB344,900, RMB241,900-RMB319,900, and RMB388,900-RMB429,900, respectively.
As the first collaborative model between ICT giant HUAWEI and ARCFOX, the αS-HI features multiple HUAWEI core technologies and a full-stack intelligent driving system. The car is equipped with HUAWEI’s HarmonyOS, ADS intelligent driving, a 750V high-voltage platform, and a wireless charging function. Owners can expect to receive the vehicles in the first half of 2022.
According to the automaker, ARCFOX and HUAWEI will extend their cooperation to every future ARCFOX model. By 2025, ARCFOX expects to have a product matrix consisting of five major series, and each series will feature a HUAWEI HI trim.
