HUAWEI-associated automaker Sokon Group sees 165% YoY soar in Mar. NEV sales
Beijing (ZXZC)- Chongqing Sokon Industry Group Stock Co., Ltd. (Sokon Group) sustained its growing momentum to March, with substantial growth in both production and sales volume, the automaker reported on April 6th.

In the third month of 2022, Sokon Group produced 6,480 new energy vehicles (NEVs), soaring 123.53% year over year. In the meantime, the group sold 7,451 NEVs, representing a 164.69% jump from a year ago.
For the first three months of 2022, the accumulated production and sales volume of Sokon Group amounted to 17,391 and 14,200 vehicles, skyrocketing 296.87% and 207.43%, respectively, compared to the same period in 2021.
Notably, Sokon Group has disclosed the sales and production volume of its high-end intelligent NEV brand, SERES, for the first time. In March, SERES produced and sold a respective 3,465 and 3,160 vehicles, skyrocketing 1667.86% and 1310.71% from a year ago. From January to March, the accumulated production and sales volume of SERES summed up to 6,808 and 5,044 vehicles, indicating a 1,812.36% and 1,186.73% soar year over year.
Aside from the HUAWEI technology-powered SF5 model, SERES and HUAWEI also have the AITO M5 model on the market. Both models are manufactured by Sokon Group.
