Notably, the pricing of the L9 rivals another local startup’s SUV model, the ES8 from NIO (RMB468,000 to RMB566,000/ $74,115 to $89,634).
According to Li Auto, the L9 inherits Li ONE’s family-oriented designs, positioning as Li Auto’s family-friendly intelligent flagship SUV. Along with its steep price, Li Auto also unveiled three of the L9’s boast-worthy traits.
Firstly, Li Auto constructed a 3D interaction space onboard, with six microphones and 3DToF sensors. When paired with the automaker’s deep learning-based multimodal 3D space interaction technology, the L9 can offer passengers an easy and natural smart interactive experience, including elderlies and children.
Secondly, the L9 is powered by a robust computing platform. The dual-operator 5G connected intelligent cockpit is equipped with two pieces of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8155 chips, with 24GB RAM and 256GB cache. The configurations provide strong computing power for any onboard needs, including AI, software, and entertainment.

Last but not least, the L9 features five connectable screens. Instead of a traditional dashboard, the car is equipped with an ultra-large HUD and an interactive screen above the steering wheel. Additionally, the L9 has a center control display and two infotainment screens in the passenger and backseats, and all are 15.7” OLED displays.
Li Auto disclosed that the L9 would debut at the Auto China 2022 in April in Beijing.
