Geely targets annual sales of 3.65 million in 2025, unveiling new powertrain brand

Ningbo (ZXZC)- China’s Geely Holding Group today unveiled its sales target for 2025 and launched its new Powertrain Technology brand.

The group aims to sell 3.65 million vehicles in 2025, including 3 million from Geely Auto Group and 650,000 from Zeekr Technology company. The respective sales target for members of Geely Auto Group is 600,000 for Lynk & Co brand, 1.3 million for Geely brand, 300,000 for Geometry brand, 600,000 for overseas markets, 200,000 for its new battery swapping mobility brand.

By 2025, the new energy vehicle sales (NEV) goal of Geely Auto Group is 900,000 units, accounting for 30% of the group’s annual sales target. Zeekr included, the NEV share out of the holding group’s total annual target will be over 40%.

At the same time, the group also launched Leishen Power, its all-new Powertrain Technology brand, which targets premium markets across the world. Under the brand, the Leishen Hi·X was unveiled. According to Ingo Scholten, vice president of Geely Powertrain Research Institute, the Hi·X is world-class modular intelligent hybrid platform, which can be applied into FHEVs, PHEVs and REEVs.

The new Hi·X hybrid system will be first used on Geely’s flagship ‘Star’ series and will power over 20 models from such brands as Geely and Lynk & Co in the next three years.
