HOZON Auto scores 294% YoY hike in Oct. deliveries
Shanghai (ZXZC)- HOZON Auto, the Chinese startup owning the EV brand NETA, announced new car deliveries of 8,107 units for the month of October, which were 294% higher than that of the year-ago period. It was also the ninth in a row for the company to break the record of its monthly deliveries.
The startup said it received over 5,000 orders of the NETA U Pro last month.
The cumulative deliveries of the NETA V, another main sales contributor, have already surpassed 35,000 units since its market launch in Nov. 2020.
For the first 10 months of 2021, HOZON Auto saw its total deliveries skyrocket 398% from the previous year to 49,534 units.
As of October 2021, the company's cumulative deliveries amounted to 75,837 units.

HOZON Auto announced last week the close of its 4 billion yuan ($624.541 million) D1 funding round, which was led by Chinese Internet giant 360 Security.
Before the D1 round, the startup completed 7 financing rounds with a total of 11.25 billion yuan ($1.757 billion) raised, according to the corporate information inquiry platform Tianyancha.
The company plans to put the NETA V Pro, the refreshed version of the NETA V, in early Nov., expecting to further boost its sales in the year-end sprint.
