ON TIME is the first mobility service platform in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to launch the trial operation of fuel cell vehicles. During the pilot operation period, users can hail fuel cell taxis for free rides via the ON TIME App and WeChat mini program.
The AION LX Fuel Cell is a fuel cell passenger vehicle model built on GAC Group's GEP (GAC Electric Platform) 2.0. It retains the spacious cabin and ultra-low air resistance of its all-electric sister, the AION LX, while features GAC Group's in-house developed fuel cell system and in-car hydrogen storage system. The model consumes only 0.77-kg hydrogen per 100 kilometers and offers a NEDC-rated range of over 650km. It takes roughly 3-5 minutes to refuel the tank.
China aims to have CO2 emissions peak before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060. Driven by the country’s goal, GAC Group is vigorously promoting the R&D of hybrid powertrains and the models powered by alternative fuels like hydrogen to reduce carbon emissions and bring users high-performance and energy-saving technology solutions.
