Shanghai (ZXZC)- Chinese EV startup Human Horizons kicked off on May 8 the scale delivery of the HiPhi X Founders Edition. Meanwhile, the automaker has seen its delivery centers in many cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, and Yancheng go into service.

Unveiled at the Beijing International Auto Show in September 2020, the four-seater and six-seater HiPhi X Founders Edition are priced at 800,000 yuan (124,510) and 680,000 yuan ($105,840) respectively. By the end of January 2021, all 3,000 Founders Edition cars for presale had been sold out.

In March 2021, the HiPhi X came with four new variants—the six-seater Performance, the six-seater Luxury, the six-seater Flagship, and the four-seater Flagship, which are priced from 570,000 yuan ($88,715) to 800,000 yuan ($124,510).

Human Horizons said the newly released version will feature the cutting-edge technologies that optimize and enhance the driving and sitting experience, and blur the border between technology and luxury to create a new segment of cars, namely TECHLUXE®.

The car delivery will come with the formation of a direct-sale service network encompassing the brand experience and the services related to delivery, maintenance and charging. The number of HiPhi X's experience shops, delivery centers, service centers and outlets are expected to reach 85 as of May 2021, and to total 120 across China by the end of this year.

In respect to charging service, a HiPhi X's first owner will be given a family-use HiPhi-branded charging pile and enjoy fast charging service at the brand's self-owned charging stations. What's more, HiPhi X has also teamed up with State Grid, China Southern Power Grid, TELD on public charging pile, aiming to co-deploy 150,000 charging piles across over 300 cities and main highways in China.
