Li Auto's Q1 2021 deliveries rocket 334.4% year on year
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Li Auto delivered 4,900 Li ONEs in March 2021, representing a 238.6% year-on-year leap, the startup announced on April 2. As for year-to-date performance, its deliveries totaled 12,579 units, surging 334.4% compared to the year-ago period.

To shore up the rising momentum for deliveries, Li Auto continued to expand its sales and service networks. As of March 31, 2021, the company had 65 retail stores covering 49 cities, and 135 service centers and Li Auto-authorized body & paint shops across 98 cities in China.
With respect to R&D, Li Auto announced in early 2021 the establishment of R&D hub in Shanghai, which is dedicated to the development of cutting-edge intelligent electric vehicle technologies, including high-voltage platforms, ultra-fast charging technologies, autonomous driving technologies, next generation intelligent cockpits, operating systems and computing platforms. This R&D center will also have end-to-end development capabilities for all-new models.
“Looking ahead, we will accelerate the development of the second-generation extended-range platform and high-voltage BEV technologies, aiming to enrich our model mix to cater to the needs of a wider range of family users, while adhering to the brand positioning of premium smart electric vehicles, all in an effort to maximize the value proposition for our users,” said Li Xiang, founder, chairman and CEO of Li Auto.
According to the company's latest quarterly financial results, Li Auto expects its revenues in first quarter of 2021 to reach between 2.94 billion yuan ($448.062 million) and 3.22 billion yuan ($490.734 million), representing an increase of 245.9% to 278.8% from a year ago.
