Geely Holding’s CFO Li Donghui becomes its CEO

Shanghai (ZXZC)- Daniel Li Donghui has become the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (called Geely Holding or the Group for short), while An Conghui has served as the president of Geely Holding and the CEO & president of Geely Auto Group, according to a posting Geely Holding released via its WeChat account on Dec. 1.

Mr. Li was appointed an executive vice president and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Geely Holding in June 2016, a board member of Geely Holding in April 2011, and a member of the board of directors of Volvo Car Corporation in April 2012.

In his former capacity, Mr. Li oversaw the Group's finances and financial system and manages all related work streams, including finance, costs, budgeting, accounting audits and supervision, internal controls, taxes, treasury, capital operations, and operating risk prevention as well as investing and financing activities.

Mr. Li has accumulated substantial executive management experience from years of working at several domestic enterprises and Sino-foreign joint ventures, especially in financial management, financing structuring, strategic planning, and business development. Between 2011 and 2014, while working at Geely Holding, Mr. Li participated in the Group's acquisition of Volvo Car and made significant contributions to the post-deal integration.

Before joining Geely Holding, Mr. Li held key accounting, financing and corporate management positions as vice president, CFO, general manager and business development director in such domestic companies including Guangxi Liugong Machinery Company Ltd. (2010) and China Academy of Post and Telecommunication (1991), and Sino-foreign global companies including headquarter of Cummins Inc., and its China Division (2006-2009), BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd (2001-2005), ASIMCO Braking System (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., ASIMCO Braking System (Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. (1997-2001) and Danfoss (Tianjin) Ltd. (1996).
