ZXZC University| Outbound Investment in France
Background
We live in the era of economic globalization and internationalization of markets. Even if this process should strengthen and simplify global trade, foreign investment is becoming more and more complicated and is subject to ever more stringent restrictions due to certain factors, such as the safety of supply chain and national security. Moreover, these are currently intensified and aggravated by the covid-19 pandemic with negative effects for the foreign direct investments, particularly for Chinese companies.
During this webinar, organized by ZXZC, in collaboration with the Paris based law firm WENNER, we will discuss the investments by Chinese companies in France, and the difficulties associated with them, the restrictions they have to face and the authorizations they have to obtain due to the regulations in force in this European country. We will provide you with a practical analysis of the impact, from a legal point of view and at a global level, of the current coronavirus crisis on the rules governing foreign direct investments.
The goal of this webinar is to show Chinese companies the pitfalls to avoid and the procedures which are required before, during and after the investment or M&A and to provide them with appropriate tools and legal recommendations for an efficient, safe and successful investment journey in France.
