Instead of lowering annual production and sales targets, Chery Holding opts to pass through the coronavirus-caused ordeal by means of alleviating dealers' pressure, developing innovative marketing business models and improving services to meet consumers' new demands, etc.

To be specific, Chery Automobile plowed RMB60 million worth of special funds to help its dealerships further expand markets. To facilitate consumers in car shopping, the automaker fully launched online platforms to promote the development of clicks-and-mortar business model.

Jetour, a PV brand launched in 2018 by Chery Commercial Vehicle, saw its sales in April grow 11.2% compared to March. It took Jetour only 18 months to see its 200,000th vehicle roll off the production line. After the production and operation were resumed, the automaker put a new model, the Jetour X70M, onto the market in March, which somewhat contributed to the brand's sales growth.

As the X70 Coupe hit the market on April 29, the rising impetus is expected to be maintained for Jetour.
