Specifically, in 2025, Chery plans to deploy high-level NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) systems across multiple vehicle models, utilizing end-to-end technology to scale up NOA applications, including HD map-less urban NOA and flagship highway NOA systems.

Additionally, Chery revealed its intelligent driving large model, capable of simulating human-like decision-making through a cloud-based world model. The automaker targets full-scale end-to-end autonomy by 2025 and aims to form a VLA large model by 2027, ushering in a true era of smart driving.

Lion Smart Cockpit

Chery also introduced its Lion Smart Cockpit solution, which promises a new level of interaction with a focus on aesthetics, usability, sound, intelligence, and global standards. Powered by the Lion.AI smart cockpit-dedicated large model, this solution integrates cutting-edge AI technologies, offering users a personalized and highly comfortable driving experience.

Kunpeng Battery

At the event, Chery debuted its Kunpeng Battery brand, covering three main product types—square lithium iron phosphate, square ternary, and large cylindrical ternary batteries. The batteries boast 6C fast charging capability, allowing it to charge for 400-km of range in 5 minutes. The batteries also feature long ranges, offering plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and range-extended electric vehicles with at least 300 km of battery-powered range, and at least 1,200 km of range for all-electric vehicles. At the same time, the batteries’ lifespan has been extended to 20% longer than industry standards.

Chery also announced the development of Kunpeng solid-state batteries, which are expected to enter mass production in 2027.
