Raya Auto, XPENG's distributor and exclusive partner in Egypt, plans to provide comprehensive after-sales support to local XPENG owners, adhering to strict quality standards to ensure high-quality service and customer experience.

Medhat Khalil, founder and chairman of Raya Holding, praised the partnership with XPENG as a significant achievement, stating, "XPENG Motors enjoys a high reputation, and we are honored to be the exclusive partner in the Egyptian market." Mohamed El Naggar, CEO of Raya Auto, emphasized the necessity of Egypt’s automotive industry's shift towards electrification, highlighting that creating a zero-emission smart mobility experience will help build a greener future for coming generations.

Currently, Raya Auto has established authorized XPENG service centers in both the eastern and western districts of Cairo and plans to open two large showrooms by the end of the year.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of XPENG and a significant year in its global expansion. Following its successful entry into Western Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Oceania, XPENG has now expanded its dealer network in Egypt and Africa, further enlarging its international presence. XPENG Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng stated publicly, "This year, we aim to expand XPENG's export reach from the initial three countries to over twenty countries."

In the first quarter of 2024 alone, XPENG's cumulative export sales reached 61.8% of the total export volume for the entire year of 2023.

The global business expansion of XPENG products is underpinned by its long-term focus on AI R&D, which has resulted in significant technological advantages. At the XPENG AI DAY event on May 20, XPENG officially rolled out the AI Tianji system to users. XPENG said it is the industry's first in-car OS to comprehensively apply AI technology to both smart cockpits and smart driving. In the third quarter of this year, the AI Tianji system will receive a major upgrade and will be launched overseas.

Additionally, XPENG's self-developed AI large model has already gone into mass production. Over the next 18 months, XPENG's smart driving capabilities in China are expected to be improved by 30 times. The company also revealed that the XNGP (XPENG Navigation Guided Pilot) ADAS feature, which has been successfully implemented in China, is currently undergoing global testing and validation.
