GAC Honda set to roll out three important products next year
Shanghai (ZXZC)- GAC Honda’s three major models are expected to hit the market in 2020, according to a media outlet.
The fourth-generation Fit
The recently-unveiled Fit will be the fourth-generation locally-produced one, expected to offer five trim levels and retain 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine rather than 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine of the overseas version. The new Fit adopts cute cartoonized design in its front face and boasts concise and refreshing interior in two colors to meet the tastes of young consumers.
The hybrid Crider
The Crider has performed well in sales in spite of its low profile by virtue of its more spacious room among the same-class vehicles and durable engine. In 2020, its hybrid version will come to the Chinese market. It is likely to carry 1.5L i-MMD powertrain system, marking its first application to the local Honda model. The combined power reaches around 112kW, better than the performance of the current 1.0T engine. The new Crider sips roughly 4L fuel per 100km, which is down by up to 18.36% over the 1.0T CVT gasoline version.
The facelift version of the Avancier
The new Avancier features the same 19-inch rim as the current model and it measures 4,858mm long, 1,942mm wide and 1,670mm high with a wheelbase of 2,820mm, slightly longer than the current vehicle.
The powertrain remains unvaried, a 1.5T engine with a maximum output of 193hp and a peak torque of 243 N·m or 2.0T engine with 243hp power and 370 N·m torque. The engines can be paired with CVT (continuously variable transmission) or 9-speed AT (automated transmission) while an all-wheel-drive system is available (photo source: GAC Honda).
