EXEED Yaoguang C-DM hits market, starting at 159,800 yuan
Beijing (ZXZC)- On March 11, Chery’s EXEED brand officially put the Yaoguang C-DM plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) on to the global market with a starting price of 159,800 yuan.

The Yaoguang C-DM comes with five variants. The respective prices of each variant are as follow: the Long Range Plus at 159,800 yuan, the Long Range Pro at 172,800 yuan, the Super Long Range Pro at 188,800 yuan, the Super Long Range Max at 205,800 yuan, and the Four-Wheel Drive Super Long Range Max at 225,800 yuan.
The Yaoguang C-DM utilizes the fourth-generation full-domain hybrid technology on the M3X super hybrid platform. With intelligent control and exclusive development, the fourth-generation technology exhibits enhanced iterative capabilities compared to its third-generation counterpart.

The fourth-generation full-domain hybrid system comprises key components such as a fifth-generation hybrid-specific engine, a three-speed DHT dual-motor hybrid-specific transmission, the hybrid-dedicated M3P lithium iron phosphate battery from CATL, Chery’s Flying Fish hybrid-specific chassis, and various control systems.
With a maximum battery capacity of 34.46 kWh, the new vehicle achieves a WLTC-rated battery-powered range of up to 160 km and a combined range of 1,343 km. With fast charging technology, the Yaoguang C-DM can be charged from 30% to 80% of its battery capacity in just 20 minutes.

The two-wheel-drive version of the Yaoguang C-DM is equipped with dual drive motors, delivering a combined maximum power of 270 kW and a peak torque of 605 N·m. This abundant power ensures a seamless daily commuting experience. The four-wheel-drive variant boasts an impressive maximum power of 445 kW and a peak torque of 915 N·m, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in around 4 seconds.
