To optimize localized battery production and supply in Thailand and cater to local customers, the Thailand factory has incorporated advanced battery manufacturing technology from SVOLT in China. It embraces cutting-edge technology, processes, and equipment in the power battery industry, integrating multiple AI intelligent manufacturing technologies such as digital monitoring, full-quality traceability, and analysis, said the company. The setup aligns closely with Thailand's EV3.5 policy requirements, offering flexibility in product switching within the production line.
The products manufactured in the Thailand factory will primarily serve new energy vehicle (NEV) models under HOZON Auto and Great Wall Motor’s brands, including ORA, HAVAL, and TANK, sold in the country. Additionally, responding to customer orders, SVOLT's Thailand factory anticipates providing over 20,000 sets of battery packs for local customers this year.
SVOLT's Chairman and CEO, Mr. Yang Hongxin, stated, "The official operation commencement of SVOLT's Thailand factory demonstrates our commitment to a customer-centric business philosophy and the firm determination to drive global strategic development. The factory is already equipped with production capabilities and technological reserves for various products. After commencement, it will further expand its production capacity to better support international expansion by automakers and meet local customer demands, ensuring the company focuses on market needs and industry-leading products."
