Beijing (ZXZC)- AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly backed by Changan Automobile, CATL, and Huawei, reported a robust delivery volume in January that refreshed its monthly delivery record.

In January 2024, AVATR’s total vehicle deliveries reached 7,059 units, marking a 15.6% month-on-month increase. With two pure-electric models on the market, the AVATR 11 contributed 2,038 units to the total, while the AVATR 12 saw its monthly delivery record soared to new heights to 5,021 units. 

In the past, AVATR consistently maintained monthly delivery record around 3,000 units on average, but in December 2023, the brand’s sales performance began to show a noticeable uptick. The company delivered a record-breaking 6,106 vehicles in December, representing a 49.6% month-on-month surge. The AVATR 12, which hit the market on November 10 last year, experienced continuous popularity on the market, bagging over 20,000 pre-orders in its debut month.

According to AVATR, the company plans to launch four range-extended electric vehicle models in 2024, signaling a strategic move into the hybrid electric market and potentially providing a boost to the brand's overall sales.
