Hitting the market on Jan. 1, 2024, the XPeng X9 presents four trim levels with prices ranging from 359,800 yuan to 419,800 yuan. Positioned as a 7-seater MPV, this vehicle is crafted on the SEPA 2.0 architecture.
XPeng's Founder He Xiaopeng said, "The XPeng X9 strategically targets the core demands of users in the 300,000 yuan to 400,000 yuan range, offering the most valuable configuration differentials. This not only simplifies user decision-making but also provides a more practical and cost-effective selection."
In terms of aesthetics, the XPeng X9 adopts a starship design language, characterized by bold lines and a forward-thinking silhouette. The three-dimensional sculpted design adds a compelling visual impact, shattering the mundane "boxy" appearance often associated with MPVs.

Equipped with 29 intelligent driving perception components, including forward-facing dual-LiDAR units, cameras, millimeter-wave radar, and ultrasonic radar, the X9 boasts dual Orin-X chips with a computing power of 508 TOPS. The XPeng XNGP intelligent assisted driving system has expanded its urban driving capabilities, covering 191 additional cities on top of the former 52, bringing the total coverage to 243 cities, effective from Jan. 2.

The X9's powertrain features the application of the 800V XPower electric drive system, delivering a maximum power of 370 kW and peak torque of 640 N·m. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, the X9 achieves a top speed of 200 km/h. Under CLTC conditions, the model’s highest range exceeds 700 km, with a comprehensive energy consumption of 16.2 kWh per 100 km. A 10-minute charge can extend the range by up to 300 km.
Furthermore, the model's entire lineup comes standard with air suspension and variable damping shock absorbers, enhancing both stability and smoothness. The air suspension, with a maximum adjustment range of 90 mm (raising 40 mm or lowering 50 mm), offers manual and automatic height adjustments based on the current driving speed.
