Leveraging their strengths, both parties are set to jointly develop operational scenarios for electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft in areas such as transportation connectivity, tourism, and emergency rescue. This partnership aims to systematically explore the integrated applications of eVTOL aircraft in public services, training, equipment maintenance, logistics, and more.
Amidst the trend of aviation electrification, eVTOL, with its unique features of electric propulsion, vertical take-off, and silent flight, holds significant promise in civil aviation. AEROFUGIA's AE200, a 5-6 seat tilt-rotor eVTOL, is a testament to this potential. According to the company, with its larger payload and extended range, the AE200 caters to the demands of zero-emission, low-noise, and high-frequency commercial operations within urban clusters and inter-city areas. It presents itself as a versatile alternative in various sectors, including aerial sightseeing, transportation connectivity, and emergency rescue, replacing traditional general aviation helicopters.
Aviation Industry Investment Co., Ltd., Gansu Province and its subsidiaries have secured aviation operation certificates issued by the CAAC Northwest Regional Administration (CCAR-91, CCAR-135) and maintenance permits (CCAR-145). They stand as pioneers in nationwide aviation medical rescue and exemplify the integrated development of tourism and transportation. Their expertise spans general airport construction, operation management, aircraft operation and maintenance, and flight training, establishing them as leaders in aviation emergency rescue, airborne medical assistance, and low-altitude tourism areas in China.
Focusing on sustained innovation in three sections as low altitude transportation, consumer-grade products and industrial application, AEROFUGIA has built several intelligent platforms serving public safety, oil pipelines inspection, forestry protection, emergency rescue, logistics and some other fields. Headquartered in Chengdu, it has several branches in Shanghai, Wuhan, Shenzhen and overseas countries.
