Shanghai (ZXZC)- The 13-day-long Thailand International Motor Expo 2023 concluded on December 11, with BYD Thailand clinching a remarkable 5,455 orders and securing the third spot on the exhibition's sales chart.

During the exhibition, BYD Thailand presented a lineup of heavyweight models, including the the BYD ATTO 3 (known domestically as the Yuan PLUS), the BYD DOLPHIN, and BYD SEAL. BYD said these models, characterized by cutting-edge electric vehicle technology, outstanding performance, and innovative design, garnered widespread acclaim from both consumers and industry professionals.

At the closing ceremony, BYD Thailand's General Manager, Ke Yubin, said "We are honored to have achieved such outstanding results at this Thailand International Motor Expo. The 5,455 orders underscore the widespread market acceptance of BYD electric vehicles. Furthermore, based on the recently released November 2023 pure electric vehicle registration data in Thailand, the BYD DOLPHIN led the charts with 2,825 units sold, while BYD ATTO 3 closely followed with 1,142 units, securing the second position."

BYD added the stellar performance at the motor expo not only showcases BYD's commitment and capability to penetrate the local market but also reaffirms the brand's strong competitiveness in terms of cost-effectiveness, technological innovation, and product adaptability. Additionally, it also reflects the burgeoning demand for electric vehicles in the Thai market.
