Shanghai (ZXZC)- Chinese power battery supplier Shenzhen BAK Power Battery Co., Ltd. ("BAK Battery") recently sealed a strategic collaboration agreement with Electroder Ltd., a Chinese intelligent design-manufacturing-operation solutions provider for new energy conversion devices, according to a post on BAK Battery's WeChat account.

The newly-forged partnership aims to leverage BAK Battery's expertise in battery manufacturing and Electroder's cutting-edge advancements in intelligent tools for battery R&D, jointly propelling innovation in battery technologies.

According to BAK Battery's press release, Electroder is a pioneering domestic enterprise specializing in the R&D of battery software toolchains. Through advanced battery models and artificial intelligence technology, Electroder is dedicated to creating innovative toolchains for the new energy battery industry. The company has introduced various software modules based on research and development scenarios, achieving significant progress in the commercialization of lithium-ion battery R&D. Simultaneously, it is actively involved in R&D efforts for solid-state batteries and fuel cells. Its flagship product, the "Electroder® Battery R&D Software Toolchain," is touted as the world's first specialized software with the capability of simulating the real microstructure of the electrode, providing the industry with superior, faster, and more efficient solutions.

The battery supplier said it will collaborate extensively with Electroder on battery design solutions, aiming to explore and launch more efficient, safer, and environmentally friendly battery design solutions.
