Proceeds from this significant investment, according to Fire Cloud Technology, will accelerate the comprehensive deployment of its rapid detection technology based on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in five major scenarios: battery production, after-sales service for new energy vehicles (NEVs), evaluation and transactions for used NEVs, energy storage, and the secondary use of batteries (production, maintenance, assessment, storage, and utilization). The aim is to establish a closed-loop ecosystem brand for the detection equipment and services throughout the entire lifecycle of new energy power and storage batteries.

Founded in 2017, Fire Cloud Technology specializes in the complete life-cycle testing of lithium batteries. The company has successfully developed products such as a rapid assessment system for power batteries without disassembly, a capacity rapid sorting and evaluation system for secondary use, a device for detecting the moisture content in unsealed batteries, a device for measuring the infiltration of sealed batteries, and a rapid sorting system for the consistency of lithium battery capacity. Of those, the first two products have already been industrially implemented.

Fire Cloud Technology said it stands out globally as the only enterprise currently capable of achieving rapid non-destructive comprehensive testing technology for lithium batteries using fast electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Presently, the company has established collaborations with various enterprises, including CATL, NIO, SAIC Motor, Envision Energy, and HAIDRIVER.
