The 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 143 kW and a peak torque of 274 N·m, while the front and rear dual motors enable maximum powers of 200 kW and 285 kW, respectively. The combined maximum power of the entire powertrain is 515 kW, with a peak torque of 760 N·m.

In terms of range, the BAO 5 offers a range of 125 kilometers on battery power alone and a combined range of 1,200 kilometers.

During the Auto Guangzhou 2023, Xiong Tianbo, the General Manager of the FANG CHENG BAO, revealed plans for the brand's upcoming models. In the second half of next year, the BAO 8 and BAO 3 are set to make their debuts. Providing additional insights, she disclosed that the BAO 3 would be an A-segment pure electric vehicle, while the BAO 8, riding on the DM-o platform, would be a larger model compared to the BAO 5.
