Shanghai (ZXZC)- BYD celebrated the production of its 6 millionth new energy vehicle (NEV), a BAO 5 off-road SUV under the FANG CHENG BAO brand, at its factory in Zhengzhou city, Henan province on November 24. The company accomplished the transition from the 5 millionth to the 6 millionth vehicle in just over three months.

In October, BYD's monthly sales of new energy vehicles surpassed 300,000 units for the first time, setting a new monthly sales record.
