Both the Han DM-i and Han EV feature BYD's signature "Dragon Face" design, with a sleek closed-off grille that creates a streamlined and sophisticated front appearance. A chrome strip runs across the front, connecting the narrow headlights, enhancing the vehicle's distinctive look. Additionally, an optional roof-mounted LiDAR sensor is available.

On the side, the new Han series retains hidden door handles and comes with two-tone wheels, contributing to a sportier feel. Customers can also opt for brake calipers in various colors. The overall dimensions remain unchanged, with the vehicle measuring 4,995 mm (or 4,975 mm in some models) in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. The rear retains the full-width taillight design, incorporating intricate knot patterns as a nod to Chinese aesthetics.

Inside, the 2025 Han series vehicle carry over its current design language, offering the DiLink 100 high-end smart cockpit powered by a D100 (6nm) chip across all variants. The 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen boasts higher resolution and clearer display quality. It supports features like dual-desktop for wallpapers and maps, intelligent voice interaction, 3D vehicle control, and customizable driving modes.

For mid-/high-spec models, both front seats offer a 10-point SPA-level massage function, with five massage modes and three intensity settings. The cabin also features a range of fragrance options, including wood, floral, and mineral scents.

In terms of intelligent driving, BYD continues to close the gap with leading startups. The top-spec 2025 Han EV and DM-i versions are equipped with the upgraded DiPilot 300 advanced driver assistance system, branded as the "God's Eye." This system includes LiDAR and is powered by NVIDIA’s Orin X computing chip, delivering 254 TOPS of processing power. The car is equipped with 31 sensors, including one high-sensitivity LiDAR, five high-precision millimeter-wave radars, multiple cameras, and ultrasonic sensors. Together, these enable features such as urban navigation, highway cruising, and valet parking.

The 2025 Han DM-i carries BYD's fifth-generation DM system, featuring a 1.5T engine specifically designed for PHEVs (plug-in hybrid electric vehicles). The engine delivers a maximum output of 115 kW and 225 Nm of peak torque, while the electric motor generates 200 kW and 315 Nm of peak torque. With the new powertrain and BYD's proprietary Blade battery, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, achieving a fuel consumption rate of just 3.8 liters per 100 km in hybrid mode and a combined range of 1,350 km.

Meanwhile, the Han EV offers a pure electric powertrain, with top-spec versions riding on an 800V high-voltage platform. Power outputs range from 150 kW to 180 kW, with maximum torque between 310 Nm and 350 Nm. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, and its driving range varies from 506 km to 701 km under CLTC conditions.

A key highlight of the 2025 Han is its chassis upgrade. The vehicle is now equipped with a five-link suspension, while top-spec versions feature the DiSus-P intelligent damping body control system. This system automatically adjusts damping settings based on road conditions—softening the suspension over rough surfaces for enhanced comfort and stiffening it during fast cornering, acceleration, or braking for better control and stability.
