ZEEKR Power so far has access to over 550,000 third-party public chargers

Shanghai (ZXZC)- On September 17, 2023, ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle (EV) brand under Geely Auto Group, announced a significant milestone in its charging infrastructure expansion efforts. It energy replenishment sub-brand, ZEEKR Power, has so far had access to over 550,000 third-party public chargers, covering over 96% of the cities across China. Among these, nearly 160,000 are serving as charging facilities for expressways.

ZEEKR revealed that ZEEKR Power has been connecting with third-party charging stations initiated by ZEEKR’s car owners in regions such as Daqing, Nanning, and Yunlin. Additionally, the company has collaborated with around 35 major charging network operators, including State Grid and China Southern Power Grid. ZEEKR's charging map on the brand's App now covers over 340 cities nationwide, offering access to more than 520,000 QR-code-activated chargers and spanning over 3,100 highway rest stops.

According to the data publicly released, as of August 31, 2023, ZEEKR has made substantial strides in the deployment of self-built charging stations, covering nearly 130 cities nationwide with a cumulative total of 790 stations. Among these, 348 are ultra-fast charging stations, extending their presence to 90 cities.

On September 1, ZEEKR introduced the V3 ultra-fast charging pile, which boasts a single-charger output power of up to 800kW, a maximum output voltage of 1,000V, and a peak output current of 800A. The V3 charging pile is scheduled for mass production at the end of 2023, with deployment across ZEEKR’s ultra-fast charging stations nationwide commencing in the first quarter of the following year.
