BYD Seal hits European market at IAA MOBILITY 2023
Shanghai (ZXZC)- On Sept. 4, BYD made a dazzling entrance at the IAA MOBILITY 2023 in Munich, showcasing an array of its six new energy vehicle (NEV) models. Among the stars of the show were the BYD Seal, the Song PLUS EV Champion Edition, and the overseas-named BYD ATTO 3 (Yuan PLUS), along with the BYD Dolphin, the Han, and the DENZA D9.

At the grand show, the BYD Seal officially hit the European market with two versions priced at €50,990 (approximately 400,000 yuan) and €44,900 (approximately 350,000 yuan). Meanwhile, the Song PLUS EV Champion Edition was seen by the European audience for the first time, and it is set to hit the European market in the near future.
"BYD New Energy passenger cars have already entered 15 European countries and, in partnership with excellent local collaborators, established more than 140 stores across the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and other nations," stated Shu Youxing, General Manager of BYD's European Automobile Sales Division. "As global electrification continues to gain momentum, Europe has become a pivotal market for new energy vehicles. BYD remains deeply committed to this market, continuously enriching its portfolio to meet the diverse needs of consumers."
The BYD Seagull, designed with a core concept of "oceanic aesthetics," impresses with its sleek and aerodynamic silhouette, embodying a sense of dynamism and strength. As the first model to employ BYD's proprietary CTB (Cell to Body) battery integration technology and iTAC (intelligence Torque Adaption Control) sysem, the Seagull excels in aesthetics, safety, handling, and efficiency.
