With eyes firmly set on 2024, XPeng is gearing up to introduce the international versions of the P7i and G9 models to the German market. To complement this bold move, XPeng is steadfastly expanding its sales and service network across Europe. By the end of 2023, the company plans to establish 17 European stores and 15 service centers, ensuring comprehensive delivery and service capabilities for XPeng's European enthusiasts.
After three years of strategic groundwork in the European market, XPeng is actively exploring international markets by introducing a "direct + authorized" retail model. This approach has led to the establishment of sales and service networks in Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden. Empowered by this channel strategy, XPeng is accelerating its sales network expansion in Europe while creating a consumer-centric ecosystem that seamlessly blends online platforms with immersive offline experiences. Currently, XPeng has established 10 own-brand stores and authorized dealerships in Europe, with an additional 7 stores set to open by the end of 2023, covering key cities in these countries. This will bring the total number of XPeng's service centers in Europe to 15.
Since the delivery of the XPeng G3 to Norwegian customers in late 2020, XPeng's models have earned widespread acclaim in international markets, thanks to their outstanding product performance and the brand's strong technological DNA, said the automaker.
In July this year, XPeng formed strategic collaboration with Volkswagen Group, intensifying global interest in the Chinese company, particularly in the German market. This partnership, based on their respective core strengths and XPeng's G9 platform, intelligent cockpit, and advanced driver-assistance software, promises a mutually beneficial and enduring strategic alliance for the future.
