Beijing (ZXZC)- Chery Holding's EXEED brand showcased its first all-electric model under the STERRA label, the STERRA ES, at the Chengdu Motor Show 2023.

Positioned as a mid-to-large size electric sedan, the STERRA ES boasts elegant lines that create a sense of elongation. Its approximately 5-meter length, nearly 2-meter width, and 3-meter wheelbase perfectly harmonize, accompanied by the low-slung silhouette, a dynamically sloping roof inspired by windblown droplets, and streamlined waistline design. This design not only achieves an exquisite sloping rear profile but also attains an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.205Cd, comparable to supercars, said Chery.

As China's first domestically produced sedan on an 800V high-voltage platform, the STERRA ES boasts an impressive energy consumption of just 11.7 kWh per 100 km, according to the automaker. It can replenish 30% to 80% of its battery in 15 minutes, offering a 150 km range with a 5-minute charge, and an extended range of up to 720 km.

Inside, the STERRA ES adopts a wrap-around cabin design that enhances immersion, spaciousness, and comfort for passengers. The central display employs a 15.6-inch 2.5K high-color gamut touchscreen with a high screen-to-body ratio, coupled with a new, minimalist, and scenario-based HMI design, ensuring clear visuals and user-friendly operation.

In terms of intelligence, the STERRA ES collaborates with iFLYTEK to introduce an automotive "big model" approach, utilizing a powerful 512 TOPS computing platform alongside advanced perception hardware. Leveraging the robust capabilities of Qualcomm’s 8155 platform, the STERRA ES delves deeply into technological innovation, entertainment, intelligent interaction, intelligent services, and comprehensive scenario coordination.
