Shanghai (ZXZC)- On August 11, VOYAH, the premium new energy vehicle (NEV) brand of Dongfeng Motor Group, announced via its Weibo account that its VOYAH Dreamer high-end MPV has been officially granted the European Whole Vehicle Type Approval (EWVTA). This milestone signifies that the European version of VOYAH Dreamer is now eligible for mass export and can be registered for official road use across all European Union member countries.

The European Union, renowned for having some of the most stringent import and export regulations globally, maintains rigorous access standards and regulatory frameworks concerning product consistency, quality control systems, vehicle scrappage and recycling, among other aspects. The EWVTA certification encompasses numerous testing criteria, including vehicle safety, performance, environmental impact, and range capabilities.

Securing this certification indicates that VOYAH Dreamer has been allowed to be exported to 27 European Union member states as well as the non-EU member states that recognize the EWVTA certification, such as Norway, Switzerland, and Israel.

Positioned as an "Electric Luxury Flagship MPV," the VOYAH Dreamer is the second model from VOYAH. It officially hit the market on May 7, 2022, and its deliveries commenced on July 16 of the same year. The model features a dual-motor all-wheel drive setup with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.8 seconds, boasting smooth and ample power delivery. It incorporates an aluminum alloy chassis with a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link suspension, including a "Magic Carpet" air suspension system with CDC (Continuous Damping Control) functionality. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with L2+ level intelligent driving assistance.

VOYAH ventured into the European market in February 2022, with Norway as its first destination. In July of the same year, the VOYAH FREE obtained the EWVTA certificate, and in December, the initial batch of the VOYAH FREE vehicles was officially delivered to Norwegian customers. In January of this year, VOYAH brand was launched in Israel, with the first batch of the VOYAH FREEs delivered in February, followed by the opening of its first store in Israel.
