China’s REPT teams up with VENA ENERGY to offer Indonesia clean energy reserve
Shanghai (ZXZC)- On Aug. 7, Rept Battero Energy Co., Ltd. (“REPT”), who is mainly engaged in the R&D, production and sales of lithium-ion batteries, and the renewable energy company VENA ENERGY officially inked an exclusive agreement in Jakarta, Indonesia for an 8GWh energy storage project, intending to provide the country with clean energy reserve, according to a post on REPT’s WeChat account.

The latest move signifies a strategic partnership formed between the two entities, poised to catalyze a transformation in Indonesia's energy landscape while propelling global renewable energy advancement.
Under the guidance of the Indonesian government, the partnership between REPT and VENA ENERGY is aimed at delivering sustainable, efficient, and stable clean energy supply, fostering significant progress in carbon emissions reduction.
"Since 2015, VENA ENERGY has steadfastly supported Indonesia's journey towards green energy transformation, successfully commissioning five solar and onshore wind projects with a combined installed capacity of 114 MW. Through this strategic framework, we aim to make a profound contribution to the growth of the renewable energy supply chain, facilitate Indonesia's energy transition, and enhance the local economy by generating employment opportunities, fostering industrial expansion, and facilitating exports," expressed Mr. Nitin Apte, CEO of VENA ENERGY.
VENA ENERGY said its mission revolves around accelerating the energy transition across the Asia-Pacific region through the development of sustainable and cost-effective renewable energy solutions. It operates an extensive renewable energy portfolio, encompassing onshore wind and solar, offshore wind, as well as fixed and mobile energy storage projects. As of Dec. 2022, its project capacity aggregates to an impressive 43GW.
