Shanghai (ZXZC)- GAC Motor, a PV manufacturing subsidiary wholly owned by GAC Group, unveiled GAC Motor International Co.,Ltd in Hong Kong on May 21, according to a press release from the automaker.

Registered in March 2019, GAC Motor International Co.,Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of GAC Motor, which will serve as the parent company’s platform for capital, talent pool and investment in a bid to enhance the receipt and payment efficiency and provide international dealers with inventory ownership services. Meanwhile, it aims to recruit more outstanding global talents by virtue of Hong Kong’s regional advantage, so as to perfect GAC Motor’s executive structure. 

“GAC Motor International Co.,Ltd will make full use of Hong Kong’s unique merits as a global free port and international financial center, aiming to facilitate the business transaction between GAC Motor and overseas dealers, optimize the business policy implementation and payment progress, and provide the long-expected inventory financing for dealers and credit services for consumers in cooperation with financial institutes,” said Yu Jun, President of GAC Motor. 

GAC Trumpchi, the sole car brand owned by GAC Motor, has stepped into 16 countries and regions in the Middle East, the Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa and America. Last year, the company saw its sales in overseas markets soar 69% year on year. 

In 2019, GAC Motor will further explore markets along the Belt and Road and other significant regions worldwide, and complete its overseas platform following the establishment of GAC Motor International Co.,Ltd and Russian sub-company.
