Shanghai (ZXZC)- Beijing SinoHytec Co., Ltd. ("SinoHytec"), a Chinese developer and manufacturer of hydrogen fuel cell engine systems, announced the official establishment of a subsidiary dedicated to development of hydrogen technologies, named Beijing SinoHytec Hydrogen Technology Co., Ltd. ("Hydrogen Technology Company"), on June 6. The new company aims to consolidate its resources and expand its presence in the hydrogen production sector, thereby achieving diversified business development.

Hydrogen Technology Company is dedicated to researching efficient coupling of renewable energy and electrolytic hydrogen production, as well as comprehensive utilization of green hydrogen technology. Its core products include Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolytic hydrogen systems and fuel cell cogeneration systems. By leveraging China's abundant renewable energy resources, the company will actively participate in various aspects of the hydrogen industry chain, including hydrogen production, storage, transportation, refueling, and utilization.

Hydrogen Technology Company has initiated a project collaboration with Yining City, located in the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang. Through the combined strengths of both parties, they will embark on the construction of photovoltaic power stations, electrolytic hydrogen plants, hydrogen refueling stations, hydrogen energy storage facilities, and hydrogen fuel cell vehicle applications. The project is expected to involve an investment of 8.146 billion yuan and will result in the establishment of a 1 million-kilowatt photovoltaic power station, a 20,000-tonne/year electrolytic hydrogen production plant, and 20 hydrogen refueling stations. These developments will meet the daily operational needs of over 3,000 hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks.

At the ceremony, Hydrogen Technology Company unveiled its in-house developed PEM electrolytic hydrogen system and PEM electrolytic cell. These products represent the company's first foray into the upstream hydrogen production field and will serve as core offerings in its future business operations.

Furthermore, the "Hydrogen Cloud" cogeneration system, another key product, was also showcased at the same time. This system provides green and carbon-neutral solutions for distributed energy and microgrids, offering a promising prospect for a sustainable and eco-friendly energy landscape.
