The latest software version includes notable updates, such as improvements to energy regenerative braking, network security fixes, enhancements to the mobile application, and user interface upgrades. Tesla has opted for a phased release approach, gradually rolling out the update to ensure a smooth deployment.

In terms of network security, the OTA update addresses several vulnerabilities, including software signature check race conditions, gateway buffer overflow, misuse of symbolic links, and potential software version downgrades.

Additionally, the update brings optimizations to the electronic power steering system, further refining Tesla vehicles’ driving dynamics. Traction control calibration has also been updated to enhance overall performance. Notably, Tesla drivers now have the ability to customize the intensity of regenerative braking, allowing them to choose the desired level when releasing the accelerator pedal during driving. The default setting for energy regenerative braking is initially configured to "Low" upon factory delivery.

Furthermore, the update introduces alerts for drivers who press the accelerator pedal for an extended period, promoting increased driver attentiveness. Tesla has also enhanced the Hold mode function, setting the default behavior to "Roll" when the vehicle comes to a stop.

Other notable features in this update include support for Icelandic language display, audible alerts during gear shifting, improved control of calls using the left scroll wheel button on the steering wheel, and the introduction of a customizable scroll wheel on the left side of the steering wheel for executing additional functions, etc.

Additionally, the onboard map version has been updated to CN-20236-14485.
