Last month, the Shenzhen-based company said it would soon release an all-new technology system named "Yun Nian", which is the Chinese name for the DiSus system.

BYD thus becomes the first Chinese automobile manufacturer to own the intelligent vehicle body control technology throughout. At the launching event, Wang Chuanfu, chairman and president of BYD, described the new system as the Chinese own intelligent body control system.

The DiSus Intelligent Body Control System portfolio includes three systems, namely the Intelligent Damping Body Control System (DiSus-C), the Intelligent Air Body Control System (DiSus-A), and the Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System (DiSus-P).

With all these new systems, BYD aims to offer better driving experience for vehicles, from compact ones to luxury ones. According to the automaker, the BYD DiSus System can ensure the vehicle is agile and effectively compatible in most driving scenarios, minimizing the risk of vehicle rollover and reducing the displacement of occupants during high-speed cornering, full-throttle acceleration, or emergency braking.

The DiSus-A will be first equipped by the Denza N7 while the Yangwang U8 will be the first model to have the DiSus-P. Meanwhile, numerous models including the BYD HAN, the BYD TANG and some Denza Models, will be equipped with the DiSus-C via over-the-air update.

Earlier this year, the automaker launched its high-end auto brand Yangwang and two production models from the new brand, the U8 and the U9.

At the end of the event, BYD also showcased a dancing Yangwang U9. Thanks to the DiSus-X system, the vehicle can not only dance, but also jump and drive with only three wheels. However, the automaker revealed little information about the DiSus-X system.
