Chery Holding launches new energy vehicle-dedicated strategy
Beijing (ZXZC)- On April 7, Chery Holding released new strategies, new technologies, new brands, and new products in the new energy vehicle (NEV) field under the "Yao Guang 2025" strategic empowerment at an event held in Beijing.

The group’s four brands, namely, Chery, EXEED, JETOUR, and iCAR fully showcased their technological achievements and plans in the NEV field, jointly demonstrating Chery Holding's vision and determination to embrace the NEV transformation among auto industry.
At the event, Chery Holding released a NEV-dedicated strategy, targeting launch of 135 new technologies, including a super hybrid platform under the Mars Architecture, the E0X high-performance electric platform, and intelligent and ecological technologies that support both platforms by 2023. The new technologies include third-generation hybrid technology, battery technology, electric drive technology, Chery's self-developed CHERY-OS, Lion Cloud 6.0 intelligent cockpit technology, intelligent driving technology, and the automaker’s Galaxy ecosystem.
In response to the rapid change of market climate, Chery's higher-end brand EXEED introduced a new energy product series, STERRA, aiming to create the most comfortable user experience from the car space to the living space. The STERRA series will cover a range of vehicle types, including sedans, SUVs, and MPVs, with pure electric and extended-range models available for global markets.
Finally, iCAR, Chery's brand aimed at young consumers, focuses on creating the third mobility space that understands users' needs. By building a user-centric organization and facing users’ process system, iCAR is constructing a fully digital touchpoint experience system around consumers’ car selection, purchase, travel, and charging experiences. With the introduction of AI and other core competencies, iCAR aims to provide users with better function services, achieving a personalized and immersive scenario experience.
