The "Flagship" high-end electric intelligent superstructure (FMEs) brings together all significant breakthroughs and the latest achievements in 115 key technology areas from eight technical domains of FAW Group, with nearly 10,000 patents, software copyrights, and other intellectual property rights expected upon completion.
The FMEs consists of the electrification and intelligent integration platform HME and the intelligent and experiential integration platform HIS. The newly released HMP becomes the third-largest platform under the superstructure. This platform features two configurations - horizontal and vertical - with four core systems, including hybrid transmission, hybrid engine, intelligent electric drive, and safe battery, as well as an exclusive smart energy control model to manage and unleash the potential of the system accurately, providing users with the ultimate energy-saving and driving experience.
The algorithm is designed to give Hongqi vehicles self-awareness, enabling them to self-recognize and adapt, ensuring that all systems think and act in unison and achieve optimal results with the least amount of energy consumption. It also lets Hongqi cars be aware of the external environment, anticipate actions, and enable the systems to respond to challenges in the best possible state.
Hongqi will gradually introduce hybrid electric vehicle models to the market according to the plan. In the second half of this year, the automaker will produce two vehicle models riding on the HMP.
