The announcement came after King Long and Tianneng entered into a strategic cooperation agreement on Oct. 25, indicating their cooperation has gone into a deeper development phase with more businesses involved.

At the agreement signing ceremony, Ding Mingbin, deputy general manager of King Long, said the newly-forged partnership is expected to help both parties realize the commercial applications of hydrogen fuel in buses, trucks, etc.

King Long claimed it has poured over 20 years of efforts in the R&D and manufacturing of new energy buses, and is actively boosting the communication and cooperation across the entire industry chain.

Tianneng is dedicated to the R&D on fuel cell projects, and has made a slew of breakthroughs in such product fields as fuel cell engine, fuel cell stack system, and membrane electrode assembly.
