Tesla Shanghai Gigafactory’s monthly delivery hits new high in November
Beijing (ZXZC)- US electric vehicle maker Tesla witnessed its Shanghai Gigafactory achieve record-high monthly delivery volume in November, according to information obtained by Xinhua News Agency from Tesla on December 5.

According to data released by Xinhua News Agency, Tesla’s Shanghai Gigafactory delivered 100,291 vehicles in the past month. In the first eleven months of the year, the Chinese factory saw a cumulative delivery volume of over 650,000 vehicles.
Cui Dongshu, secretary-general of the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), commented that the Shanghai Gigafactory’s deliveries in the first eleven months has far exceeded the annual volume of 484,130 vehicles delivered in the whole of 2021. The secretary-general is optimistic to see the Gigafactory hit an annual sales mark of 750,000 vehicles this year.
Grace Tao, vice president of Tesla, said in an interview in September that the localization rate of industrial chain adoption of the US EV maker’s Shanghai Gigafactory has reached over 95%. The automaker has established in Shanghai, Suzhou, Ningbo, Nantong, and other Yangtze River Delta regions a "4-hour circle of friends" for a comprehensive ecosystem chain of new energy vehicle parts.
