DPCA announces mass executive reshuffle, including general manager change

Shanghai (ZXZC)- Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Company LTD (DPCA) announced a sweeping personnel reshuffles on December 14. Su Weibin, DPCA's general manage will be removed from his current position, while the future whereabouts has not been revealed yet.

The new general manager will be recommended by DPCA's French shareholder Groupe PSA and officially assume the responsibility from February 1, 2019. Before that, Jean Christophe Marchal, DPCA's existing executive vice president, will work as acting general manager of the Sino-French joint venture, according to a personnel change agreement signed by both shareholders.

Besides, Li Jun, general manager of Shenzhen Dongfeng South Industrial Group Co., Ltd., will be transferred from the existing unit and has been appointed as DPCA's executive vice president and deputy party secretary. The joint venture's current business deputy general manager Li Guozhou, purchasing deputy general manager Liu Jianghua and secretary of commission for discipline inspection Zhou Yongchun all will be posted away their present positions. Moreover, Li Xinyang, DPCA's another business deputy general manager on behalf of French stockholder, will be recalled to Groupe PSA for another assignment.

In addition, Yan Li, the joint venture's administrative deputy general manager and director of human resource department will leave the current post to work as the company's purchasing deputy general manager and director of purchasing department.

The management structure has been somewhat changed as well. The automaker will get two positions of business deputy general manager off the executive committee and the marketing headquarters will no longer exist. What's more, directors of Dongfeng Citroen and Dongfeng Peugeot are ready to head the executive committee and will directly report to new general manager.
