Li Auto’s Li L8 SUV included in catalogue of China’s MIIT
Shanghai (ZXZC)- The Li L8, the yet-to-be-launched full-sized SUV model of Li Auto, has been included in a catalogue recently released by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology ("MIIT").
According to the information disclosed by the MIIT, the Li L8 measures 5,080mm long, 1,995 wide, and 1,800mm tall with a wheelbase that spans 3,005mm. It will come with two specifications of tires, namely 255/50 R20 and 265/45 R21.

As for power performance, the Li L8 is still an REEV (range-extended electric vehicle) driven by an all-wheel-drive system that churns out a combined output of 330kW and peak torque of 620N·m. Its range extender consists of a L2E15M 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. The model can zip from standstill to 100km/h in only 5.3 seconds.

Powered by a 40.9kWh ternary-lithium battery pack, the Li L8 is capable of 168-km range (under WLTC test cycle) on battery power alone and features a minimum fuel consumption of 7.7 liter per 100km.

According to the images unveiled by the MIIT, LiDARs will be offered as an add-ons of the Li L8. The model will be available in two variants, a six-seater and a VIP five-seater, to broadly cater to diverse family groups.
The startup announced earlier this month it would launch the Li L8 in early November this year with deliveries to commence in the same month.
