JLR China President Pan Qing to be acting President of JLR China, CJLR IMSS
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Pan Qing, president of Jaguar Land Rover China (JLR China) and a member of global board of management of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), will become acting President of JLR China and Chery Jaguar Land Rover (CJLR) Integrated Marketing Sales and Service (IMSS) from December 31, 2018. Frank Wittemann, the existing president of JLR China and CJLR IMSS will be transferred to JLR's headquarters.
On January 1, 2017, Pan Qing was appointed to the global board of management of JLR, to the position of JLR China President and to the board of directors of CJLR. Reporting directly to Dr. Ralf Speth, CEO Jaguar Land Rover, Mr. Pan is responsible for maximizing the total value of the JLR business in China. He is accountable for profit performance of JLR combined import and local business in China and leading the company's vision and strategic development in this country.
According to JLR's official introduction, Mr. Pan is a well-experienced automotive executive who had held the position of Executive Vice President Audi China & Vice President Sales China & Hong Kong of Audi AG before he was employed by JLR. He joined Volkswagen Group in 2007 and made significant contributions to the group's development in Asia while took different executive positions at Volkswagen, MAN and Audi over nine years.
Frank Wittemann was named as President of JLR China and CJLR IMSS, taking effect on February 1, 2017. He has over two decades of experience in the automotive industry and has worked at Jaguar Land Rover across three continents since 2011. His most recent role was as Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Latin America and Caribbean.
