A very yellow and very pretty 964 Porsche 911, seen near the Workers Stadium in Beijing by reader Ali Khalili, thank you very much for the pics. The 964 was made from 1989 until 1993 and is extremely rare in China because it was never officially imported, the first 911 to arrive was the 996.

Some earlier Porsches however arrived via the gray market or other semi-legal channels, but this this great vehicle is the first 964 I have seen in the country in ten years. It seems to be in perfect condition, Ali looked inside and noted it had a manual transmission. The 964-911 was powered by a 3.6 liter flat-six that pooped out 250hp.
