ZEEKR 001’s monthly deliveries hit new high in Aug. 2022

Shanghai (ZXZC)- ZEEKR, the Chinese premium EV brand owned by Geely Holding, announced today the monthly deliveries of the ZEEKR 001 hit a new high of 7,166 units in August, leaping 42.7% from the previous month.

By the end of August 2022, the EV maker has delivered 37,205 ZEEKR 001s cumulatively, 31,198 units of which were delivered this year.

Chinese power battery titan CATL last week announced that ZEEKR will be the first car brand to be powered by its Qilin batteries, which adopt the company's third-generation CTP (cell-to-pack) technology.

The first model with Qilin batteries inside-the ZEEKR 009-will be delivered in the first quarter of 2023. The Qilin-powered ZEEKR 001 will be rolled out in the second quarter of next year, expecting to offer a range of over 1,000km.  

As for the second production model, the ZEEKR 009, the automaker has released some basic information of the all-electric MPV, including exterior, dimensions, electric motor power, and drag coefficient.

There were 25 ZEEKR's sales and service stores built in August.

Regarding the charging network, ZEEKR Power newly deployed 47 self-built charging stations last month, resulting in a cumulative number of 443 charging stations in 72 cities across China by the end of August 2022.

Moreover, ZEEKR's charging map has got access to over 340,000 third-party charging points in 329 cities in China.
