Starting from February 14, local Israeli consumers may order a U6 via Aiways official Israeli website. Delivery of the U6 will also commence shortly as the vehicles were already enroute to the country.
According to Aiways, within the one and a half years of developing the Israeli market, cumulative orders for the company’s U5 model have exceeded 5,000 units, about 2,000 units were delivered. Meanwhile, the U6 has already accumulated more than 4,000 intended customers before the official launch of sales in Israel, and the number is still growing.
Relying on Auto Chen, a professional local partner, Aiways opened the experience and flagship stores in Herzliya Pituach, Israel, and launched a website for test drive reservations. Through a combination of online and offline channels, the whole process from purchasing a car from viewing, test driving, to buying is improved for Israeli consumers. After-sales service for local customers will be provided by Auto Chen.
In 2022, Aiways set up its first overseas independent delivery center in Rishon LeZion, Israel, , marking another milestone in the startup’s globalization process. By the end of last year, Aiways has entered to over 20 countries and regions worldwide with a cumulative export volume of 6,264 vehicles.
