Shanghai (ZXZC)- Geely Auto announces the official guide price of its all-new compact sedan called the Binrui on August 30. The new model's price is ranging from RMB 79,800 to RMB 110,800.

Unlike the models on the same level, such as the Geely Vision, the Emgrand and the Emgrand GL, the Geely Binrui features a sporty overall style. It retains Geely's iconic ripple-shaped intake grille at its front face, which seamlessly connects with slim headlights on both sides. The sporty front bumper echoes with the general vehicle style as well.

The new model boasts fierce waistlines, a fastback roof as well as 17-inch double five-spoke rims, still fitting the sport theme. Length of the all-new Binrui comes in at 4,680 mm long, 1,785 mm wide, and 1,460 mm tall. Wheelbase of the new model is 2,670 mm, 30 mm shorter than rivals like the Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Corolla Altis.

Featuring a rather neat interior design, the model is outfitted with a center console decorated with pulling-through metal trims, a multifunctional flat-bottomed steering wheel, a 10.25-inch crystal liquid screen and a 7-inch full liquid crystal instrument panel.

As to the powertrain, the Geely Binrui will feature two engine variants. The first is a 1.0L turbocharged direct-injection engine that can generates a maximum power of 136hp and 205N·m of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. The second is a 1.4L turbocharged engine that can output 133hp and 215 N·m, mated with a Punch-sourced 8-speed CVT-type automatic transmission.
