According to CATL, the CTP technology features highly efficient integration and allows cells to be directly integrated into packs without modules. Leveraging this technology, the battery pack's system energy density will be improved and the manufacturing process will be simplified, resulting in cost savings.
The newly-formed cooperation will be conducive to the enhancement of both parties’ respective international market competitiveness. Through the strategic partnership with MOBIS, CATL will develop more valuable products for the global electric vehicle market, the Ningde-based battery maker said.
Meanwhile, the fresh collaboration also launched a new model for global technology cooperation in the industry, and will help CATL expand the application of its innovative battery technology worldwide, so as to contribute to global electrification.
