XPeng's Oct. deliveries amount to 10,138 units

Shanghai (ZXZC)- XPeng Inc. (XPeng) announced on Monday its monthly deliveries reached 10,138 units in October, rocketing 233% year on year and surpassing 10,000 units for the second month in a row despite the global chip shoratge.

In October, there were 6,044 consumers taking delivery of the P7s, representing a 187% year-on-year hike. Meanwhile, the monthly deliveries of the G3 series hit new highs of 3,657 units. XPeng said the delivery volume of the G3i was continuously growing since the mid-term facelift’s scale delivery started in Sept.

Besides, the Guangdong-based EV startup also delivered 437 P5s last month. As XPeng's third production model and first sedan model, the P5 formally hit the market on Sept. 15 and its “orders are abundant”, said XPeng.

For the first 10 months of this year, XPeng delivered a total of 66,542 new vehicles, posting a year-over-year surge of 289%.

As of Oct. 2021, the startup had seen its cumulative deliveries top 100,000 units.

As for the expansion of energy supply network, XPeng had built 439 supercharging stations in 121 cities by the end of September this year. In addition, the company had deployed 1,648 free charging stations in 221 cities to better solve the charging pain points for users.
